Susan and I engaged Kat to photograph our wedding, and as part of the package she suggested that we also do an engagement photo session. We are very glad we took her up on that suggestion. The engagement shoot gave us a chance to get comfortable working together before the wedding, and we were delighted with both the experience and the photographs. By the time our wedding day arrived, we already knew we were in very good hands.

Kat is talented, professional, communicative, and genuinely easy to work with. She has a great eye and a clear artistic vision for how to frame and compose her photographs, while at the same time being very flexible and responsive to what we wanted. She struck that balance beautifully. We always felt that we were benefiting from her creativity and expertise without ever feeling overly directed or constrained.

For both our engagement session and our wedding, Kat gave us wonderful collections of photographs that were rich, varied, attractive, and engaging. She captured not only the important moments, but also many of the smaller expressions, interactions, and details that helped tell the story of each occasion. We came away with far more than just a handful of favorite pictures. We have extensive collections that we will enjoy looking back on for many years.

Just as impressive, Kat's pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality of her work, the amount of time and care she put into it, and the number of photographs she delivered.
